KEATON CEMETERY, BARRY CO., MO
Directions: From McDowell, go east on farm road 2070 to a "Y." Take the right road, farm road 1165, to another "y." At this point, 1165 ends, and one either goes north on farm road 1170, or goes east on farm road 2080. Take 2080 to an old steel bridge over a creek. You'll pass a house on the right side, and round a corner. The graveyard is about 1/4 of a mile further down the road, on the left side of the road, fenced, with a gate. In August 2006, Jay Trace photographed all the readable stones there. He said that he only saw the two stones, along with a footstone for Martha J. Hilton, but there were a half dozen fieldstone markers. |
