In May, 2004, she moved from Montgomery, Illinois to Shell Knob to make her home. |

He served his country during World War II with the 472D Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion in the Philippines. He was an auto mechanic and worked several years for Wendt-Sonis. Four years ago he moved to Shell Knob from Jane, where he had lived for 30 years and served as Deputy Sheriff over 10 years. |

She remained in California from 1941 until 1978 when she and Bob moved to Missouri to a farm outside of Cassville. In 1989 they moved near Shell Knob to make their home. |

SSW: Kathleen - Research Note: He was a son of William A. and Mary (Holland) Robertson. On May 28, 1945, in PerShore, England, he was united in marriage to Kathleen Colquhoun, who preceded him in death on November 18, 2006. Also preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, William Robertson. John graduated from Rutherford High School and received his Bachelors Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, New Jersey. During World War II he served our country in the United States Army Air Corp. He entered February 4, 1943 and was honorably discharged as Corporal on October 7, 1945. Most of his life was spent in New Jersey, where he was employed by Grants Plumbing as a customer service representative. Seven years ago he moved from Lebanon, New Jersey to Cassville to make his home. |

On July 26, 1939, Ed was united in marriage to Iona V. (Wahl) Suderman. They were married 64 years. Ed’s teaching of vocal and instrumental music spanned 35 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iona; daughter, Rita Kay Lind; parents, Peter and Caroline (Hein) Suderman and nine brothers and sisters and their spouses. |
