Research Note: The funeral home records for Culver's Chapel have Frank buried at Maplewood and listed his father as Frank Giddings and his mother as Tillie Henbest. Cause of death accidental drowning and year of birth as 1929 - not 1930. The record also gives day of death as the 18th and not the 17th. Place of death is given as near Viola. |

He was preceded in death by his parents a sister, Bunola Guttormson and a granddaughter, Jacey Gummert. He received his education in Iowa where he lived most of his life. He served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army and was honorably discharged September 30, 1960. He worked for the Public School Transportation System as the head mechanic for 38 years. In 1990 he moved to Cassville to make his home. |
