She married Dale Haddock on Nov. 17, 1945, at the South National Church of Christ in Springfield and together they raised five children. She taught school in Barry and Stone counties for 15 years. She worked social work for the state of Missouri for 10 years and as a nurse's aid for four years before retiring in 1984. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Carroll Cleveland Blythe, her husband Dale, a daughter, Joyce Helen (Haddock) Rose, a son, John Charles Haddock. |

Research Note: The Obit reads that there was a son with the surname of Dossett, must have married Mr. Dossett first before Harrison. She was a daughter daughter of William and Bessie (Andrews) Painter. Esther was a life long resident of Barry County and a graduate of the Cassville High School Class of 1951. After completion of school, she joined the US Air Force and served during the Koren War. She was a licensed manicurist and previous employee of Litton's in Springfield. She retired from Fasco Industries in Cassville after ten years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Honey Marie Singletary; one daughter-in-Law, Hazel Dossett; eight brothers; and two sisters. |

Research Note: He was a Wheaton, MO resident. He was a son of Clarence and Affie (May) Harrison. On July 11, 1946, he was united in marriage to Nadine Ridenour and to this union two daughters were born. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Lawrence Harrison. Eston grew up in the Exeter area and received his education at the Union Valley Rural School. As a young man he resided in Layton Hollow in the Ridgley area, where he farmed and also worked for McCullah Bulldozing. He then moved to Kansas City and was employed at Vendo Vending Machine Company around ten years. In 1990, he moved back to Wheaton to make his home. |
