Perry Wells donated the land in 1895 for Maplewood Cemetery.  Early day obits sometimes listed this cemetery as Maple Grove.

Directions: Cemetery is in Exeter, Missouri, on the main road, south side of town.

From Hwys 86/76, turn south or left if coming from Cassville, on FR 1075 and within a few blocks you will see Maplewood on the right.

There is a plat map located of the Maplewood Cemetery, for the ownership of lots at Maplewood. 

The oldest part of Maplewood has a section called Potters field. There are burials in that section without stones along with areas where it is unknown if anyone is buried in the spaces so they do not bury anyone there.
