McDowell Mill Cemetery Barry Co., MO The McDowell Mill in the 1880's - McDowell Mill, a mile south and east of McDowell, on Flat Creek.
Ted Roller, Jay Trace and Jack Fly were on the trail of this cemetery for a few days before they finally spotted it. It is located near where the old McDowell Mill once stood. They think that there are several graves there and that several members of the Larkin family are probably buried there. Below is an obit that we have posted for one person who was buried there and the 1880 census for her family.
