Research Note: Son of Jasper Newton and Elizabeth (Goswick) Tidmore. Donna's Note:  James Tidmore, age 84, of Monett, died Oct. 10, 2001, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield. He was born July 8, 1917, in OK, and was a son of Jasper Newton and Elizabeth (Goswick) Tidmore. He was retired from Jumping-Jacks Shoes in Monett and was an employee of the Monett Special Road District. He attended First Free Will Baptist Church in Monett. She volunteered at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield for 13 years. She was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ in Aurora. She married Efton C. Turner on September 10, 1933, in Purdy, and he preceded her in death November 23, 1996.
