GENTRY, Georgia Etta (FERGUSON) Dec. 12, 1879
Barry Co., MO
Jan. 12, 1970 SSW: Manford E. - Research Note: According to the will of Sofrona Ferguson Brattin (May, 1903 in Barry County Court) The widow and second wife of My Great Grandfather Monroe Brattin. Georgia "Etta" Gentry was her step-grand daughter. Georgia's mother was Joannah. Joanna was the daughter of Monroe's first wife Sarah Bowman. Joanna married William Ferguson (I think his first wife) and their daughter is Georgia Etta Ferguson Gentry. She married Manford Gentry. It is a little confusing as her step-grandmother's name was Ferguson and her stepdaughter Joanna married a Ferguson. She bequeathed the step grandchildren $70.32, to each my Grandmother Georgia Edna Brattin Higgs and her brothers Otis and Walter. But Georgia Gentry got $105.00 - 47 1/2. It was settled by one executor as everyone else she mentioned in her will had died by then. Family Group Sheet
