Mrs. Jennings was born March 23, 1849 at Buffalo, N. Y., being 50 years 11 months, and 3 days old. She was married July 12, 1868, at Twin Lake, Iowa. Eight children were born to them, five of who survive, one son and four daughters. She was converted and joined the United Brethren at the age of seventeen. Keeling - Research Note: She was the daughter of John Edens Jr. and Sarah Ann Church. - Cassville Democrat, April 14, 1917: Mrs. James Keeling died at the Keeling home west of Butterfield, Monday, April 2, from a stroke of paralysis aged 52 years, 8 months and 4 days. She was a daughter of John and Mrs. Sarah Edens and was born August 28, 1864. On November 1, 1885 she and James M. Keeling were united in marriage and to this union were born ten children, three having died in infancy. Those surviving the mother are: Charlie, Jesse, William, Walter, Ross, Ocie and Burl Keeling, together with their father to mourn for the passing of their mother. She also has five brothers, three sisters and a host of friends and relatives who are made sad by her departure. Online Obit

Her children were Lawrence Forgey, Dema Keeling, and Billy James Keeling. It seems she was quite a lady.
