His obit reads that he married Miss Medah Tarvin in 1919, two days after he was honorable discharged on June 5, 1919. His obit reads that Jesse is survived by a wife, four sisters, Mrs. Joe Ghan and Mrs. Ted Ghan of Wheaton. Mrs. G. E. Tate of Parsons Kansas and Miss. Bessie Rice of Kansas City, a brother, Clyde who is now serving in the Navy aboard the U. S. S. Vicksburg now in Alaska waters, and a half brother, William Rice of near Wheaton..
