Research Note: She was a daughter of Zachariah & Chloe (Albritton) Haddock and the wife of John Ireland. They married on Oct 25, 1846 in Barry Co., MO. Darla Marbut says that the family tradition has it that "Aunt Pop" Ireland had the use of one arm. And that is true - because we have a photo of her online. Mollie Easley Maloney told the family how "Aunt Pop" was an expert at spinning in spite of her handicap. Online news obit reads that she died Oct. 17 near Seneca - Mrs. Mary Ireland, familiarly known all over this county as "Grandma Ireland" passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. G. Cox, near Seneca, Oct. 17, 1910. Mary Ireland was the widow of John Ireland who was killed during the Civil War while at his home southwest of Cassville. She leaves two sons, Christopher Ireland, south of town, John Ireland who lives in the west and a daughter, Mrs. N. Cox of Seneca. Her remains were shipped to Cassville for interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Donna's Note: The stone has Oct. 18, 1910 as her date of death. Their love for Roaring River brought them to Cassville where they owned and operated Roaring River Resort for several years before retiring. Research Note: Her death certificate reads that her father was John Trim, born TN, and that her mother was Louisa Place, born TN. She was widowed. W. L. Price, Neosho, MO, was the informant. Ira Nickle says that he thinks that Maud Jordan's death certificate is incorrect. It was reported her father was John Trim and her mother was Louisa Place. The January 20, 1917 issue of the Democrat has John Trim's death date as January 20, 1917 and that he was 46 years of age. He would have been born in 1871. Maud Trim Jordan was born on April 17, 1867 in Cassville. William Ellis Trim married Louisa Logan on February 25, 1866. I believe her father was William E.
