Research Note: This obituary might not be in original format and has no paper as the resource. It reads: "Martha Jane Patton Embrey was born 29 May 1850; married Mr. Wm. Embrey about March 1869, and died 22 March 1876, aged 25 years 9 months and 22 days. Brother Embrey is left with 3 small children. William B. infant son of Brother William and Martha Jane Embrey was born 18 March 1876 and died 18 March 1876. Isaac Stapleton" Nellie added: her parents were Robert Wiatt "Wyatt" and Mary (Womack) Patton. Jack Fly's Research Note: James Fletcher Patton, born September 22, 1839 in Gallatin Co. IL and died October 29, 1873 in Barry Co., MO. He first married Margaret Elvira Fly, January 20, 1859. She was the daughter of Asher Pipkin and Marilla (Cantrell) Fly. This marriage ended in divorce and he married his second wife Elizabeth A. Tucker, September 27, 1873. |
