Quaker Cemetery
Barry County, Missouri
North of Cassville, MO

Flat Creek Township
NW Sec. 3, T25N, R24W
GPS 364408N 0935035W

Location: Go north on Y from Cassville till you come to Merl's Chapel on the west side of the road. The cemetery is about 1/4 mile west of the chapel enclosed in a good chain link fence. The custodian lives in a trailer house just a few yards north of the cemetery.

One interesting item: The heavy iron eye bolt - one inch diameter steel rod bent into a 4 inch eye and firmly anchored in a concrete block at the east end of the burying ground is the burial site of a Quaker girl.

Church is not associated with Quaker Cemetery - is just near the location.

All the stones in this cemetery were photographed in August of 2007 by Diana Cope.
