Truhitte was born in Morgan County, Tennessee January 15, 1823, departed this life November 28, 1908, age 85 years 20 months, 13 days. He was married to Martha Ann West of Putnam County in early life. To this union were born eight children, three of whom are still living: B. R. Truhitte of McDonald township, Mrs. R. L. Lewis of Mineral township, and Mrs. Lizzie Reynolds of Grove, Oklahoma. Bro. Truhitte served in the U. S. Army in the first regiment, Arkansas Cavalry under Captain Dugley, for about three years. |

It gives his birth as July 16, 1879 and not in 1878 as Phyllis submitted. Also the date of death was given as Oct. 31, 1960 and not Oct. 30 as submitted. Ida (Engle) Wierman, deceased was given as his wife's name. Mrs. Bertha Writer of Jenkins was given as his closest relative. |

He was born Jan. 25, 1932, in Eagle Rock, the son of Ermal and Minnie Mae (Easley) Williamson, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Williamson in 2001. On May 12, 1951, in Eureka Springs, Ark., he was united in marriage to Norma Lea Dilbeck. They have been married for fifty-six years. He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Williamson in 2001. |

SSW: Herbert - Research Note: An abstract of her obit reads: Georgia Pryor Ramsey, 100, of Cassville, died March 1 at St. John's Regional Health Care Center in Springfield. She was born April 11, 1914, in Cassville, and was a daughter of William Francis and Loella (Koch) Pryor. She was a 1942 graduate of the Chicago School of Nursing. She worked at Cardwell Memorial Hospital in Stella and at Webb City and Cassville hospitals. She opened a licensed nursing home in Cassville. She was owner and administrator of Sunset Valley Nursing Home and administrator of the Barry County Nursing Home before retiring in 1974. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville, St. John's Hospital Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and past member of the Barry County Historical Society and Barry County Senior Center. She married Herbert Writer on January 26, 1929, and he preceded her in death January 18, 1958. She also married Virgil Ford, Alvin Perkins, and Walter Ramsey, and they all preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Pugh; and four brothers, Olen, Francis, Verlon, and Alvin Pryor. |

An abstract of the online obit for Herbert Writer reads that he was 49 years old and died at his home in Cassville, MO. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Georgie Writer; two daughters, Yvonne Writer and Linda Writer of the home; two sons, Charles Writer, stationed with the navy at Charleston, S. C., and Eugene Writer of the home; two brothers, Edwin Writer of Jenkins and Harold of Berryville; three daughters (should be sisters?) Mrs. Pat Dilbeck and Mrs. John Powell of Cassville, and Mrs. Elbert Wiseley of Tulsa. |
