Directions: From Purdy, take 37 north to
FR2070 and turn left (east), go to FR1055 and turn right (north). At the T in
the road with FR2065 the cemetery is directly opposite of 2065. It is next to
the Stone's Prairie Tree Farm.
The land was owned by Henry Stinnett and 1.7 acres was deeded for a cemetery. It is fenced, very overgrown with briar and underbrush and has several fallen trees. I found several stones off from the base but not broken. Until the cemetery can be cleaned and an accurate inventory of the markers can be made or official list is found, this is it. My great great grandfather William Stinnett, great grandfather George Washington Stinnett, and William's daughter, Mary Ann Stinnett Shepherd are buried there. Mary Lee Gentry.
