Stringer Cemetery

Barry Co., MO

This cemetery was found by Ted Roller and Jack Fly following up on information given to them by Mrs. Betty Jo Thomas. 

The Leroy Stringer Cemetery is located in a field on the north side of Hwy. 60 approximately one-half mile west of the junction with County Road Z. This location would be near Monett.

The Stringer's were one of the early pioneer families to settle in Barry County arriving in the 1840's. Leroy P. Stringer married Juliana Whittington August 13, 1846 in Barry County.
