She was born Oct. 8, 1956, in Sterling, Colo., and was a daughter of James and Nancy (Albrandt) Long. In 2001, she was united in marriage to Ed Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She received her education in Colorado, where she lived much of her life. In 1972, she moved to Missouri, residing in Butterfield and five years ago moved to Eagle Rock to make her home. |

She was born July 28, 1939. Mrs. Bruton, RN, enjoyed a long career in nursing. Annie was a 1958 graduate of the School of the Ozarks and gained her nursing certificate from the Medical College of South Carolina in 1964. Her love of music led her to bluegrass and she was a member of the Southwest Missouri Bluegrass Association and was an active organizer of the events at Oak Grove School. Annie was a member of the Living Word Mission in Simco, MO. Annie and Gene Bruton were married March 16, 2002. |

Research Note: Marker is a small stone with Jim Eagleson written on it. It is right of his parents James and Sarah Eagleson headstone. Oct. 11, 1929 - Cassville Democrat - Jas. Eagleson, son of the late James Eagleson Sr., was born in Illinois, Dec. 9, 1871. Came to Barry county with his parents when a small boy. At the age of 17 he went to Allowe Okla., and resided there until Oct. 5, 1929. He departed this life at the age of 57 years, 10 months and 26 days. He had never married. He leaves to mourn his passing one brother, Albert, several nephews and nieces. His remains were brought to Viney cemetery by the undertaker at Allowe. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. T. Brattin at 2:00 p.m., Oct. 8. |

Research Note: He was a son of William Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Bruton) Ethridge. On November 19, 1940, in Cassville, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Elva I. Towler, who preceded him in death on December 6, 1997. Also preceding him in death were his parents and two sons, Tommy and Marvin Ethridge. For twenty-eight years he was employed for Union Pacific Railroad in Boise, Idaho, retiring at the age of fifty-five. During World War II he entered the United States Army, serving from June 2, 1942 until November 19, 1943. He was in North Africa with the 888th airborne engineers. |

SSW: L.A. - Research Note: Her death certificate reads that her father was Mathew Hill, born MO, and her mother Georgia Ann Ridinger, place of birth was unknown to the informant, Lawrence Frazier, Golden, MO. Her husband was Lawrence Frazier and he was 58 years old. She was age 54 years, 6 months and 1 day old when she died. It reads she was born in 1882, not 1892 like the stone reads. The first transcription had her name as Rose E. and not Rosa E. as the stone and the death certificate both read. |
