Esther was born on May 21, 1918 in Trenton, Nebraska to Everett and Edith (Hovey) Silver. She was a retired bookkeeper and clerk for the MFA Grocery and Feed Store, and a member of the Mt. Vernon First Baptist Church. On June 12, 1936 she married M. W. (Morris) Daugherty in Barry County. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1996. Her parents, one son, Billy Daugherty, two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters and one son. Photo
