Research Note: Noah served in the Civil War and enlisted at Mt. Vernon, MO and served in the 7th Prov Reg't enrolled in the MO, Militia, and enlisted as Haddock, Noah.  He enrolled and organized with the Federal unit on Nov. 1, 1863, out of Mt. Vernon, MO; and records list him as a deserter. And then he enlisted with Company B, 11 Missouri Infantry as a Private as a Confederate. He was at the Battle of Pea Ridge. His brothers Charles Marion and Boone Haddock were in the same unit. He was injured during the war and was unable to work.
