Standifer Ferguson: Julie H. Ferguson, Adm.

Bond: $ 500., 29 December 1865, William Montgomery and James Sexton, bondsmen.

Background Reference:

Standifer Ferguson was first married to Lucinda Lewellen and second Juliet (Waller) Collins, widow of William Collins.

Juliet Waller married widower William Collins, March 20, 1849, Saline Co., MO. He died sometime before November 17, 1854 in Barry Co., MO, because his will was probated on the 1854 date mentioned here.

After the death of William Collins, Juliet (Waller) Collins married Stanifer Ferguson,  Nov 20, 1856, Barry Co., MO.

William Collins was first married to Elizabeth Graham, Aug 3, 1814 in Warren Co., KY, and they had a large family. Among their children was Julia Ann Collins who married William Montgomery. He was one of the bondsmen in the Standifer Ferguson estate.

Julie H. and Standifer Ferguson are both buried in Corsicana Cemetery next to her brother John Waller. It's believed that William Collins could also be buried there since he died in Barry Co., MO, sometime in the summer of 1854 and doesn't seem to be buried in New Site where some of his children and grandchildren are buried.
