The Monett papers chronicle the death of Hugh Meadow, a car inspector for the Frisco at Monett, Monday. He was knocked down and run over by an engine in the yards, killing him instantly. He had lived in Monett only a short time coming there from Alma, Arkansas. He leaves a wife and one child.
