The Neosho Times records the fact that Mrs. C.G. Kelly wife of Dr. Chris G. Kelly of Dessa, Buffalo township, Newton county, committed suicide, on the morning of Feb. 15, by hanging herself. Mrs. Kelly had been in very poor health for sometime and her relatives had kept watch over her, to keep her from taking her life. This morning after the boys had all come down stairs, she went up stairs and with a small rope hanged herself to the banisters. She was 50 years old and leaves a husband and several daughters. This family many years ago resided in Cassville. They moved back to their farm near Eagle Rock, where they resided until Dr. Kelly sold the farm to W.T. Ayers and moved to Newton county, where they have since resided. The bereaved family will have the sympathy of all their acquaintances in Barry county in this their very sad hour.
