David Kneeland who stole horses belonging to John Hagler and Bud Long and a buggy from A. W. Thomas all of Kings Prairie township, sometime ago, was caught by the police of Joplin, last Saturday. He was brought to this place and lodged in jail in this city, Wednesday night, by Deputy Sheriff Joe Jackson. Kneeland was caught in Neodesha, Kansas, sometime ago but escaped. He is wanted in several placed for horse stealing. He told where the horses were.
