Joseph Adrian Cameron, 80, Joplin, died Monday morning, June 1, 1998, at his home after a sudden illness. Mr. Cameron was born Oct. 28, 1917, at Butterfield. He was a longtime Carthage resident who moved to Joplin a few months ago. He worked at Atlas Powder Co. from 1960 to 1982. He was a member of Carthage First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and a daughter; a brother, a sister, two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Carthage.

Contributions may be made to Carthage First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
