Casualties List: Pvt. Camp is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Camp living west of Washburn who had been overseas since August 19, 1943. He was inducted into the service in March 1943. Surviving besides his parents are seven brothers, Windford, Ransom, Luther, Dave, Rollie, Willard and Orville Camp and two sisters, Mrs. Milford Windford and Mrs. Avon Wade. Mr. Camp was here and said he had received a letter from his son’s commanding officer telling of the loss of his son and expressing regrets over his loss. A letter promising more detailed information to follow was received.
