Jack O. Carr Jr., 45, of Washburn, died at 3:38 a.m. June 6 at the Barry County Care Center in Cassville following a long illness.

Mr. Carr was born August 22, 1953, in Kansas City, the son of Jack Olderson and Mary O. (Swindle) Carr Jr. He graduated from Southwest of Washburn High School in 1971 and retired in 1991 from the U. S. Navy as chief petty officer radioman.

Survivors include his mother, four brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.

Naval military graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, June 9, at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn with Captain Damon Onellion, chaplain, and Doyle Russell, pastor, officiating under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, June 8, at the funeral home.
