James William Carr, Sr., 83, of Shell Knob, died at 3:45 a.m. April 3 at his home.

Mr. Carr was a retired military warrant officer.

Military graveside rites were held at 1:30 p.m. today, April 12, at National Cemetery in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Shell Knob.
