Abstract

Katie Irene Catron, 70, of Seligman, died yesterday, May 17, at South Barry County Hospital.

Mrs. Catron was born December 18, 1930, in Carroll County, Arkansas, the daughter of George I. and Nellie (Loftis) Laizure. She was a homemaker and moved to Seligman in 1983. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Seligman.

She married Berton Catron on November 7, 1948, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, of Seligman; two brothers, Oregon and Wisconsin; one sister, of Washington; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, May 19, at the Church of Christ in Seligman with John Huff officiating. Burial will be in Seligman Cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, May 18, at the funeral home.
