Abstract

ROGERS --- Carrol Dewayne Laney, 73, of Rogers died April17, 2001, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers. He was born April 17, 1927, in Washburn, Mo., to Herbert D. and Dora Mae (Duckett) Laney. He was an inspector in the automobile-manufacturing industry in California, an army veteran of World War II and a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Joplin, Mo. He was an avid fisherman and had lived in Rogers since 1975, moving from Joplin.

Survivors include his wife, one son and daughter-in-law, three daughters and two sons-in-law, one sister, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
