El Paso News: Sunday, April 29, at 4:00 a. m., Etta, wife of George Lauderdale, departed this life. She was one of twins born to Mr. and Mrs. David Lamberson, Sept 18, 1880, and married Geo. Lauderdale, June 4, 1899. She was 19 years, 7 months, and 18 days old. She leaves an infant five weeks old. Her remains were interred it the Concord Cemetery, Monday about noon. Her illness was of very short duration. She was taken sick about 2:00 a.m. and died two hours later of heart trouble. Her mother died similarly thirteen years ago. Her twin sister married Monroe Barnett.
