Obit: Emil L. Lee, 74, Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at his home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at Geo. C. Carson & Sons Independence Chapel; burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Mr. Lee was born September 17, 1924, in Barry Co., MO, and had lived in Independence since 1944. He was a dental tech for 49 years. He was a member of River Boulevard Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Murray, in 1998, and wife, Henrietta E. Lee, in 1995. He is survived by two daughters; two sons; four brothers; a sister; his mother; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
