Abstract

Hubert Dewey "Shorty" Maring, 81, of Washburn, died January 5 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Mr. Maring was born February 26, 1926, in Ballagh, Nebraska, the son of Dewey Admiral and Hazell Marilla (DeMary) Maring. He was a heavy equipment operator, farmer, and rancher.

He married Viola Rockford on August 26, 1944.

He as preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Richard; and two sisters, Vera and Twilla.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. tomorrow, January 8, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Washburn with Franky Parsons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Roller Cemetery in Washburn under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home of Cassville.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 7, at the funeral home.
