Betty (Scott) May, 82, Killeen, Texas, formerly of Purdy, died March 23 in Killeen, Texas.

Mrs. May was born April 12, 1923, and was a retired schoolteacher.

She married Darrel May. Survivors include one son and one sister.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, March 27, at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett, with the Reverend Chuck Kackley officiating. Burial was at the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Monett, under the direction of Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
