Obit: Cassville Democrat January 1943 Albert Perry Ledenham was born May 2, 1883 at Greenfield, Dade County, Mo., and passed away May 8, 1943 in Pittsbury, Kan., at the age of 60 years. He came with his parents to Washburn when a few months old and has resided in the community his entire life. He was united in marriage to Miss Maggie Pulley on November 30, 1902. She preceded him in death on January 13, 1940. To their marriage six children were born., five of whom survive. They are Mrs. John H. Mosier and Gladys Maxine Ledenham of Pittsburg, Kan.; Mrs. Olin Brattin Kuna, Idaho.; Pharis Ledenham of Washburn; Mrs. Dennis Lee of Belle Plaine, Kan. Also eleven grand children survive. Mr. Ledenham was a member of the Washburn Baptist church, and was held in high esteem by his many acquaintances. Funeral services were held at the Washburn church on Monday afternoon May 10, by the Rev. Chas Vanzandt, W.A. Ireland offering prayer. Pallbearers were: John Dunlap, Elmer Weston, Geo. Wilson, Joe Vanderpool, Claud Kiser and Garfield White. After the funeral services the body was taken to the Koon Funeral Home to await the arrival of members of the family, before burial in the Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter. Obit: Cassville Democrat March 1943 Adeline Feebie Walden Adeline Feebie Wyrick, was born Sep. 18, 1870 in Ray County in East Tennessee. She was a daughter of the late Solomon and Elizabeth Martin Wyrick, and was married to J.F. Rowley, July 5, 1885. To this union nine children were born, one 1 son and eight daughters. Two daughters and her husband preceded her in death. Judge Rowley was well known by the older citizens of Barry County. On Dec. 28, 1908 she was married to J.S. Walden, who passed away Dec. 9, 1937. She was converted when young and united with the Methodist church. Although handicapped by ill health from attending church and lived a devoted and faithful Christian life. Mrs. Walden departed this life March 10, 1943 at the home of her son. A.C. Rowley. She leaves to mourn her passing, seven daughters and one son. They are: Mrs. George Burdine of Matin Calif.; Mrs. J.W. Hoog of Seattle Wash.; Mrs. J.R. Hoog of Kansas City,; Mrs. F.C. Hoog of Muskogee, Okla.; Mrs. Clarence Hoog of Cassville, Mrs. Kisler of Washburn and two sisters, Mrs. Will Walden of Emporia Kan.; and Mrs. Sued Crippins of San Diego, Calif., one brother of Wyandotte, Okla., and 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and number of nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held at the Washburn church on Sunday afternoon, March 14, 1943 by the Rev. Chas VanZandt. Burial in the family cemetery, north of Washburn, under the direction of the Culver Funeral Service, Pallbearers were, Urt Hutchens, Paul Varner, Moulten Varner, Lee Morris, Evert and Esther Weathers, Flower girls were Frances Varner, Dorothy Fay Steward, Pauline Daniels, Anne Varner and Barbara Rowley.
