September 8, 1910, Thursday, Cassville Republican, Barry Co., MO

Aged Mother Passes Away: Mrs. Nancy Craig suddenly passed away at her home three miles east of Cassville Friday afternoon, September 2, age 74 years.

Mrs. Craig had been in very poor health with lung trouble for some time and been gradually growing more feeble from month to month. Friday she was assisting in doing some house work when she suffered a severe hemorrhage of the lungs and passed away immediately.

Mrs. Nancy Craig was born in Ohio in 1836. She had lived in this county for twenty-four years on a farm just west of the Mt. Sinai School house and had won the highest esteem of the entire neighborhood. The poor health during the last years of her life kept her close to her home but the testimony of her neighbors is that she was one of the county's best citizens and devoted to her loved ones, home and the good of the community in whish she lived. She leaves an only son, William Craig, east of town, and a number of other relatives. Her remains were shipped Saturday to Dunkirk, Ind., for burial. They were accompanied by William Craig and J. A. Craig of this city.
