Gaddis School

Friday, the 17th, Miss Lettie Lambert's school on Gaddis, east of Mineral Spring, closed. The patrons of the school came in at noon and spread a nice dinner for the scholars and all enjoyed the nice things that their mothers and sisters had prepared for them. There were about 50 persons present. The afternoon was devoted to songs and recitations by the school, all of which were very good. To show the estimation in which the school holds Miss Lambert, they unanimously voted the following resolution: "That we, as a school, desire to thank our teacher for the great interest she has taken in trying to instruct us, and we wish her success wherever she may go.
