George & Margaret  were married near Eagle Rock, Missouri in 1906. The photo was taken on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary, in Neosho, Missouri.

George was born August 5, 1878, in Barry County, Missouri; the fourth of five children of Thomas and Alice Ball Fleetwood. He died May 28, 1968, in Neosho, Missouri.

Margaret was born April 16, 1888, in Barry County, Missouri; the youngest of eleven children of Sidney and Margaret Rumbaugh Russell. She died December 11, 1981, in Neosho, Missouri.

The Fleetwoods had five children: Alice Margaret (deceased), Georgia Edith, Wilma Mae, George Ernest, Jr., and William Thomas (deceased). They farmed near Wentworth, Missouri for many years before moving to Neosho.

George and Margaret are buried in the Newsite Cemetery.
