Pictured below are members of
the Homer and Rebecca (Garrison) Gibbons family. They were residents
of Barry County from about 1888 until 1903 when they moved to Lincoln County,
Oklahoma. Homer's brother Eli Gibbons and his family continued to
reside on a farm just outside Exeter until just prior to 1930.
The four youngest children were born in Barry County. Homer
was a farmer and stone mason. The photograph was taken in 1902. The
photograph at the bottom of the page shows the Gibbons family home located
near Exeter Barry County Missouri circa 1902. Photos courtesy of
