Arthur was a surveyor for many years, and his business cards read "I have personally surveyed every inch of Barry County".  In his later years he sold real estate from his office in Cassville.  He was married to Minnie Mae Ledgerwood, and they had 4 children:  Beatrice (Henbest) Sanders, Matilda (Henbest) Giddings (my mother), William, and Ethel  (Henbest) Lowery.
