Charles was born 5 July 1894 at Exeter, Barry Co., Mo. and died 21 Sep 1965.  He married Zuma Kathryn Weatherly.  They are both buried at Maplewood Cemetery at Exeter.  They lived on the farm near Jenkins for many years. 

James Otto Brattin, was born Aug. 18, 1892, Exeter, MO. and died Jan. 14, 1937, Gray Co., KS. He was the son of Lorenzo Dow Brattin and Bettie Ann Hudspeth.
