Pictured below are James & Susan Duff. James Knox Polk Duff was born 1 November,  1845 and died 6 October, 1905.  He was the son of George and Jane (Archer) Duff.  Susan Peralee (Wells) Duff was born 21 March, 1849 and died 13 January, 1877.  She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson and Nancy (Lawson) Wells.  James and Susan were married 1 September, 1870.  The Wells and Duff families lived in Capps Creek Township, Barry County, Missouri.  The Wells can be found on censuses from 1850-1880.  The Duffs can be found on 1870 and 1880.
