The children given above don't look to be minors in the above photo but the estate settlement listed them as minors in 1867.  George Long was born in 1848 so he would have been under the age of 20 in 1867. Samantha was born in 1862 so in 1867 she was 5 years old. Speculation is that this photo is of the Long family as it reads but that the old man seated in the photo is not John Dake Long.
