Barbara Mullins said that his photo was in among her grandparents' pictures and then it was in her parents' pictures. She said that this man might have been someone from the Clevenger, Thomas or a Hilton families - or someone else? It appears that he was was probably in the Civil War from the hat and medal that he is wearing.
It appears that this man is wearing a GAR medal and hat. Fran Black posted on the list that she thought he was Civil War veteran, Edward Clanton, who used to attend many Civil War reunions in the area. She indicated that he died in 1916.
