David Maxwell

Dr. David Maxwell married Louisa Jane Thompson. He was a son of John and Mahala (Weddell) Maxwell. They removed to Barry Co. after the Civil War. Dr. Maxwell and Louisa settled in Barry County.

Dr. Maxwell can be found in John's obit and census report in Shell Knob. However, upon Louisa's death, Dr. Maxwell moved to Galena, Stone Co. where he remarried and lived out the rest of his life. His grave marker is located in Y hwy Cemetery, near Reeds Springs.

Louisa is buried in Mineral Springs Cemetery, Barry Co., MO.
