Edward B. Maxwell, brother of Dr. David Harvey Maxwell. Edward, with his brother John W., were the ones who bought land near Cassville from the Scotland Land Co. He settled in Rock House Hollow, near Mineral Springs. He, and Dr. David lived in that cave while they were building the house.
