My grandmother, Bessie WALKER, was born in Liberal, Barton Co. 3 Aug 1887. I do not know her parents' first names, but her mother's maiden name was supposed to be BARBOUR. Bessie had four sisters: Nona, marian, Helen and Virginia. I don't know if they were born in Liberal or not. Both parents died and the girls were farmed out to relatives. My grandmother went to Conneaut, PA to stay with a grandfather.

I'm trying to find information on Abraham ASH. He and his wife Hannah left Indiana in 1870 for Missouri. My information is that he died in Lebanon in 1874, although the county was listed as Dade. His son Joseph ASH and his wife Mary were in Missouri in the mid-1860s, but I don't know where and I don't know who their children were. Abraham'S children were William, Eliza Jane, Atsey, Martha Ellen and Upton. It is known that Hannah died in Barton County in 1904. Does anyone have any information on this family, i.e., where buried, cause of death for Abraham, did Hannah ASH re-marry, who were Joseph ASH's children? Would you look up census information on any ASH in 1870 and 1880? Thanks.

Seeking information on grandfather Benjamin Franklin DAVIS, born in Mindenmines on 6 April 1902. His parents were George Henry and Margaret Ann (nee MCCLUSKEY) DAVIS. Also, is there even the remotest possibility that this George Henry DAVIS, a native of Wales, sought his American citizenship while in Barton County? Two other children were born in Barton County to this couple (Sybill Afton and Winston Churchill DAVIS); their dates of birth are 29 November 1904 and 21 August 1907 (respectively) You all please let me know. Thank you!!!
