We have a document written in 1942 that describes a visit by Adelia California ADAMS GAMMILL to visit her parents Timothy Randall Bloomfield ADAMS(?-1901) and Mary ISGRIGG ADAMS (1830-1911) to Liberal in NW(sic) Missouri about 1883. The author, then a seven year old child at the time, accompanied his mother. A hand written note reads as follows: "-later moving to Western Missouri and helped establish a town called Liberal. Oral history of this place gives as the reason for its establishment as a region where christians could ?? with more freedom than that imposed upon them by strict regulatations of their home churches. Hence the name Liberal." I am trying to determine if this is the correct town and if there is any further information available about Timothy Randall Bloomfield ADAMS and his wife Mary ISGRIGG. I would truly appreciate any help that I can get. Sam Vass
