Mrs. Mattie Myers was called to Butler Tuesday by the
severe sickness of
Mrs. Black. She was accompanied by Mrs. Thorne who will
visit at Mrs.
Stuckers.
Mrs. J.B. Egger and Mrs. J.R. Pickerill visited a few
days of last week, in
Butler, guests at the home of Prof. L.B. Allinson and
Jno. F. Boyd.
Mrs. M.E. Jones, from Hume, Bates County, in company with
her daughter, Miss
Lelia, was visiting her son, J.H. Jones of this city
a few days this week.
Mr. Ed. Hastain, who has been attending circuit court
at Butler in the
capacity of stenographer for several weeks, is visiting
this week at the
home of his parents, a few miles east of the city.
W.O. Jackson, an attorney of Butler, was in the city on
business last
Tuesday.
