MILLER; BATES, LAFOLLETTE I am looking for any information about the MILLER Family in DREXELL. My great grandfather and his brother owned Miller & Miller which was a general store. My great grandfather married Elisabeth "Lizzy" BATES, and they had Charles Dean. He in turn married Peggy Jeanne LAFOLLETTE by eloping to Arkansas. James came from Macoupin County Illinois to Bates Co. before settling in Taney County MO. James BRADEN's first wife was Sarah Maddy whom he married in Claiborne Co. TN in 1838. His second wife was Nancy Frances Walker-Cummings-BLUNT whom he married in 1868 in Macoupin Co. IL.

LEAZENBY, i am researching the familyof Joshua Walter LEAZENBY. His first wife was Lily ____. Two sons born: Walter F. born in Bates Co. 21 Sept 1880. Walter moved to Caddo. Co., Oklahoma in 1900 and married Sue W. Lawson in Pawnee Co., OK. Second son, James Mark Leazenby married Maude ___and had a daughter, Edna. At some point, the Leazenby's moved to Stecker, OK and opened a store. Lily d 12 July 1913 in Anadarko, OK and John Joshua Leazenby, was born 20 June 1917. Joshua Walter died 19 Apr 1926 in Stecker, OK. Joshua Walter and Lily both buried in Joplin, MO. Any help or info would be much appreciated. I'll share everything I have as far as documentation/info/etc.

LENNON; Searching for information
on Patrick and Sarah LENNON who lived in Rich Hill, Bates Co. MO in the
late 1800's. Oral family history says that Patrick owned a soda pop factory
there. Is there any way to verify that? Was there a Catholic church in
the area at that time? Patrick immigrated from Ireland and Sarah from Wales.
They had several children - all boys. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

BENNETT; SIMMONS, STANFIELD:
Can anyone help with the Bennetts that were living in the area around Butler,
Bates Co., MO. from 1865 until 1910? Hyronmous J. Bennett married Permelia
Ann Stanfill/Stanfield in Johnson Co., KS. in 1864. They moved to Bates
Co. where they raised 8 children to adults. Hyronomous (a.k.a. Hiram or
H.J.) died 29 Jan.1905, but I don't know where. They were living in Virginia,
Elkhart twp. in 1900. Permelia's parent's were John and Mary Jane Rice
Stanfill/Stanfield. They lived in Cass and later Bates Co. where they both
died. Hyronomous and Permelia's youngest son, William, married Lula Ann
Simmons in 1910, Butler, Bates Co., MO. Her parent's were Charles and Elizabeth
Garren Simmons. Charles and Elizabeth lived in Butler from 1860 till their
deaths. He died in 1925 and she died in 1936. Any help will be appreciated.
