Jacob Speer Bollinger Co
- Jacob Speer, a substantial farmer of
Bollinger County, Mo., was born in
Lawrence County, Ind., January 1, 1824.
Richard Speer, was
born in England, January 28, 1762.
While a single man
he came to
America, and was one of the heroes of the Revolutionary War.

Richard Speer died
and wife were born nine children, of whom Jacob is the seventh.
